Holly Bay Campground

Holly Bay Campground is in the southern half of the Daniel Boone National Forest near London, Kentucky. It's a beautiful campground that sits on the edge of Laurel River Lake. There is access for boats, and the Sheltowee Trace Trail runs right past the campground. The trail is 319 miles and runs the entire length of the Daniel Boone National Forest.

We were lucky enough to stay at the campground for almost a week, and the park closed for the season the day after we left for Ohio. We stayed on E Loop a short walk to the bathhouse. Holly Bay was one of my favorite campgrounds so far.
